I returned to the movies last week to see Mel Gibson’s thriller “Edge of Darkness.” A large part of me was anxious to see it since I knew Gibson plays a Boston cop whose daughter is murdered in front of him. As Gibson’s character, Detective Thomas Craven, launches his own investigation into his daughter’s untimely demise, he starts unraveling threads to a conspiracy involving big business and government in Massachusetts.

Lawyers representing the guardians of Courtney Love’s daughter have filed a court request to seal legal documents relating “to a minor and allegations of domestic violence”.

Seventeen-year-old Frances Bean Cobain, whose father is the late Kurt Cobain, was placed under the temporary guardianship of her paternal grandmother, Wendy O’Connor, and her aunt, Kimberly Dawn Cobain, earlier this month after requesting to live with her relatives.

Mischa Barton prefers kissing girls onscreen because lesbian love scenes are more “relaxed.” The 23-year-old actress locked lips with Alex Kelly during her stint on teen drama The O.C., and she got intimate with Evan Rachel Wood in the TV show Once And Again.

Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans premiered at the AFI Film Festival in Hollywood on November 4th. Nicolas Cage was not present, due to the recent passing of his father, but director Werner Herzog and costar Eva Mendes walked the red carpet to discuss the film.

DETROIT (Billboard) – Michael Buble plans to give fans another dose of “Crazy Love” in 2010.

The Canadian singer tells Billboard.com that he will reissue the album — which recently spent its first two weeks at No. 1 on the U.S. charts — with some tracks left over from the recording sessions.

NEW YORK – Michael Buble recently received a cassette tape of his first performance ever, but it didn’t bring back pleasant memories.

“I was absolutely terrible. I didn’t know how to get in and out of the song,” the 34-year-old said embarrassingly of a performance when he was 16. “At that point I didn’t understand the form of a song. So wrong, so terrible.”

Courtney Love is facing another hole in her finances - the singer owes more than $300,000 in unpaid taxes. Officials in Los Angeles County have filed a federal tax lien against the former Hole frontwoman, stating the money dates back to 2007.

Love’s lawyer, Keith Fink, has blamed the star’s latest money woes on her former business manager, telling TMZ.com, “Ms. Cobain has every intention of paying those taxes.”
